Mike Kieser had a vision to create an environmentally friendly golf course that focuses more on improving the environmental and economic factors of a golf course. The environmental aspect he focused on was using land in the area without growing grass that is full of pesticides and chemicals so that the habitat that lives in the land of that golf course is safe. The course was also designed to be walk-able and easy access for people to get across the entire course without using a golf cart that can impact the land negatively. His economic aspects include hiring many caddies instead of spending the money on extra fertilizer and golf cart expenses so that the overall cost for maintaining the course is cheaper and more environmentally friendly. Keiser’s goal is to create a natural and environmentally friendly golf course that can be enjoyed by nearly everyone in the area.
